Nice drawing.
It seems you took the photo in poor light. In this case I do a adjustments on the computer. A white balance, a crop etc.
Photoshop or some other free software may help there to get a proper photo. I use RawTherapee a free software.

Than you. At least I knew blue would do well for shadow on snow. Sorry about low light. Can be dark in this cabin. Gotta rig up better lighting.
