Bongo! Bingo!

I like your night time, city-suburbanscapes a lot (although I never tell you) but isn’t this one a departure from what you usually do? It’s really good. The color of the water seems “just right“ although…what do I know about landscape stuff? I like how it’s composed - “held in there” by the land’s edge, like a giant cup of pretty water. I think the yellow land and pops of purple are good, bold choices. But I feel I want something else to be in the sky but I don’t know what. More color? Texture?

Very intriguing landscape. I like the eerie cast to the sky. Equally as interesting without Lisa's mug. Great job!

Thank you Ole.

Olive - it is a departure from what I normally do. This started out based on The Mona Lisa -- but without Lisa -- just the background that she's posing in front of. I decided to let the colors go and make it sort of a fantasy landscape. I'm thinking maybe a bluish sky with dramatic clouds putting on a show -- or not. And there are foreground elements that need some work. So I'll let it sit for a while then figure out what to do with it.

Bongo, I’m glad you explained the title, I kept thinking, “What’s Lisa got to do with it?” 😁I really like it,composition, color, everything.❤️💕

The textures in this are magnificent. The whole thing has an other-worldly feel to it. I like it a lot!

Oh my goodness gracious--I absolutely LOVE this one. Everything about it is so damn good from the composition to the choice of color. It's your masterpiece! Hearts galore! :)

I thought I recognized that unusual landscape. This is so good and I don't miss the woman with the smirky smile at all!

I've been away and come back to such gracious comments. Thank you, thank you. Sno - I have a weakness for cutesy, trick titles - that I'm usually able to suppress but this one got away.

laika - you got my number. I have to admit it did cross my mind to put in a UFO.

Wow, fine piece! I really like the rock texture in the brush stokes and how they help to give depth by receding in apparent stroke/brush size. I think you’re right about some blue in the upper sky to give the blue water refection more meaning.
