This is a challenge for landscape and cityscape lovers! Ireland and Scotland,
Any size, any medium, any style. It’s up to you. This challenge will be open for two months. Of course if you decide to participate after that time, you can always post your work here. Sometimes it takes a little longer to finish some pieces. We are always happy to see your work.

The first layer so it's very much work in progress still. Need to wait couple of days before adding more layers.

Christine, are these photos taken by you? Did you stay in this hotel?

This view is my favorite one of all references to paint but l don't like what I did with the first layer here as much as with the "Bundoran Beach".

Both are wonderful, Grapes, and very exciting to see the progress! Beautiful work so far.
No, this is a distant cousin of mine from Scotland who travels about. She takes a lot of photos, and from time to time, I’ve asked her if I could use her photos for this group for people to paint or draw. She was so enthusiastic about that. I think she was very flattered. So she’s given me permission. She’s very curious to see what people come up with. Since I can’t really get out and travel anymore, this has been wonderful for me too. She goes to such beautiful locations.
