Thanks Ayin and Donna. I had fun painting it.

It feels good to be painting again. I have been tied up with a broken computer that had to be replaced and then two local shows I am participating in. Everything feels pretty much back to normal now. Yeah!

Really nice fabrics and bench. The only thing I would change would be the foliage in the center, top. It appears to be growing out of her head.

Love how you captured the interplay between your ladies. I wouldn't sweat the background too much. It's considered a no-no in photography if you place a subject in front of foliage where it can look as if a branch is coming from the head - and it's on the photographer to control that depth of field or simply move the subject.

Here, it looks like simple framing for the two figures, which works fine as it extends to both sides. I also love the cane!!

Thanks Balaji. Figures are an area I haven't done as much work in so I enjoyed the challenge.

Terri, thanks for your encouragement and your comments about the foliage and composition. It's an area I keep working on to get better. One of the delightful things about creating art is that you learn with each painting that you do. It keeps things interesting.
