KC Park, Chennai

I went sketching on location yesterday with a group called the Chennai Weekend Artists. This was our 512th event. We used to meet once a week from 2012 onwards, but we stopped doing that during the covid lockdowns, and we have met very infrequently since then.

Yesterday we met at a recently opened public park called the Kalaignar Centenary Park, located opposite the Semmozhi Poonga, another much liked park in the heart of the city. This new park is to the East of the US Consulate Building. My sketch was done with a flex nib pen and is approximately A4 size.

Yes...it certainly is. So is the Semmozhi Poonga (park) across the road from this one.

I did comment on this, but I must have neglected to actually post the reply. The depth, scale and perspective is excellent. Your work continues to fascinate and amaze.
