This year we had unusually cool and pleasant weather in Chennai with the daytime temperature hovering around 26 C...and out came the woollens.

If it had dropped a few more degrees we might have seen some earmuffs and mittens too.

This is a 4" x 5.5" pen and ink sketch, done with a flex nib fountain pen.

Balaji, wonderful textures and folds. Fabric is notoriously difficult to portray naturally, and this is excellent. Although I did have to smile at your comment of 26 being "cool". That is summer weather here! Our winter (which is usually cold, but milder in recent years) was exceptionally cold. It was much "warmer" today at 5. Since December, we have barely made it above -8, and it was often -17 to -20C.

Snlynn, Joy...Thank you.
Joy...Yes, we in India, and particularly in Chennai often remarked that it was a good thing where we were. I do ot think any of us would have survived the temperatures that you had this winter. Our summers are difficult too, but you need a certain degree of affluence to survive cold temperatures. That is not the case with heat and humidity.
