This is a 4" x 5" pen and ink sketch in an elephant dung paper sketchbook that my wife got for me from Sri Lanka, and my reference, with her permission, is a lovely photograph taken by Sudha Cannan, who was travelling with my wife.
I started this sketch with the intention of doing a line and wash sketch. But, as it often happens to me when I pick up a pen, I got carried away and completed this as a pen and ink sketch.
I used a Micron 005 and a Classmate Octane gel pen for this sketch.
