Joan Eardley

The wonderful painter Joan Eardley is new to me. Her masterful brushwork and colours appeal to me very much, especially in the 1960's landscapes near the end of her life. The YouTube video cannot be shown in other websites, but here is the link to it.

Thanks for this, Hermes. I've been using all of my willpower to not buy a book about her work for awhile. Her landscapes seem to tap into something very primal and personal without being predictable. I like this article about her too.
