This is a 16 cms x 12 cms pen and ink sketch made with a flex pen that I bought recently. This is my third sketch with this pen and I am still in the process of adjusting to it.

A flex pen has a flexible nib. Mine has a steel nib. When you apply pressure the tines of the nib part, the slit widens, and it delivers a thicker line. It is very convenient for outdoor, on location sketching since a single pen does the job of several pens. Also, the character of the lines is a little different from using fixed width pens.
