My aunt Jeanie Qualtire-Ward was a sculptor, painter and poet. This is a death mask she did of my grandfather which actually hangs in the college I work at. One of her pieces, made of welded steel actually sits in front of the school as well. She even drove racecars for some time. Really cool lady from what I've seen!

Death masks are all okay in my book. What are the materials? How did you get the colorful glaze?
