I always thought that in today's world, art was irrelevant. But this mural showed me it is.

It is a powerful image, and the fact that they are trying to erase it shows how important Art still is.

I thought the same when I saw it. Did you see the scrubbed off version, it looks more powerful somehow:

I guess it's not irrelevant when it's blatantly painted on the royal courts of justice. He could of painted it on any wall in London, but the publicity is good, which I'm sure was the intention.

I bet there was a lot of harrumping from the judges when this was first seen
