An old landscape I painted a long time ago.

It was a summer time when I was painting pleinair on this location. I was very beginner on pleinair. I took plenty of reference photos and in the fall I started this painting because I was very fond of the wagon & other elements there in front of us. Location is Florence, Due Strade (the hills of Florence).

Oil on canvas, 46x35 cm (approx.18x14in)

Thanks for looking! 🚞

Ha, ha 😂 ... Mayben!
I think I went back to that place with a hope to paint pleinair of that landscape with the wagon in it but as it was gone ...

I didn't paint it the first time because I simply didn't know how to do it in pleinair. 🤷 I painted simple cypress lines etc.

Grapes this has a lovely atmospheric quality to it. The lighting and feel reminds me of a day when it gets still and feels like it’s about to rain -it’s building to that. On those days sometimes it doesn’t actually rain. It just gets this look and feel . Well done!
