Me too Bongo. I think I just got the title too.. is it an optical illusion? It can look like the hats in front and behind the drink.

I like how you placed him in an urban setting but only hinted at what’s behind him. It looks like he’s lost in his own world. Very nice piece and I can’t believe 8x10 is small for you! I suppose your usual city subjects need much more breathing room.

Jade - a hat trick is three of something - it's used a lot in sports. A hat-trick in hockey is when a player scores 3 goals in one game. But doesn't mean much of anything here, - I like your interpretation.
