Francis Boag

I came across this Francis Boag interview and thought it would be of interest to many painters here, for a few reasons. From my own perspective, I can relate to the way he has a cool, analytical approach, which I did not expect when I looked at his paintings. I like the way he explains and rationalizes his choices. His colours are appealing, but perhaps a bit too seductive for my own taste. Nevertheless, I think we can all find inspiration in examining small details and colour combinations in his work.
