These are a few I have done recently. They are each about 5"x5", line and wash with Inktense pencils.

This first one is Allamanda. It was done for a challenge on another forum. I think it would have been better without the lines around the petals but I always do the inkwork first so I couldn't just decide to leave it without the lines. XL Mixed Media Sketchbook.

This one, "Laundry is Done!" was a practice in drawing fabric. I had a lot of fun with it and may do another one in the future that has a more interesting composition. XL Mixed Media Sketchbook.

This last one, a cardinal, was done for the Animal and Wildlife challenge for December. This was done on a scrap of paper I think was Arches HP. It was either that or Stonehenge since I have used both in the past. I wanted to experiment with a different paper to see how it compared with the Canson XL Mixed Media sketch paper. To be honest, I liked the Canson just as well and it's a lot cheaper! ;)

I like all of these! The line gives the floral just enough form. The fabric is a great idea, and a surprisingly difficult subject. Color choices really add to the effect.

All are interesting and well rendered no matter the paper; I've always had good luck with Canson either their mixed media or watercolor papers.

Anne...They are all very lovely. My favourite is the second one, the towels.
