Flower WIP

Acrylic and colored pencil on canvas. I like it, but kind of feel like there's something missing. I have a lot of negative space (even though it's filled with the background colors) around the flower, but not sure what to put in it. What do you guys think? Too much negative space? A winding vine is all I can think of, but not too keen on it.

That's a nice flower design, Jessie and I like the background colors and how they flow together. Maybe if you decide to do some sort of pattern in the background - like leaves or a vine - it could be very subtle. I like the graphic punch the flower makes as it is so I'll check back to see what you come up with.

Definitely put some type of pattern in the background as the flower is floating otherwise.
