Wayne … Wow! The sunlit flower looks great against the blue walls of that room! I’m trying to figure out why this composition works so well. The distant picture on the wall balances the flower’s shadow?

Yes, maybe it’s the depth of field that adds so much interest. It’s about the flower in the room, not just the flower. There’s always something to think about!

Very Van Goghish without being a Van Gogh ... I think they call it stealing but I think of it more as being in tune with a good artist.
