Monet, Renoir, Rodin, and Degas were all born over nearly 200 years ago (born in the 1830s & 1840s). It is somewhat surprising to think of seeing them in film... and yet here we are.

Excellent, I wish there were more of Degas, working.
I visited Monet's garden several years ago whilst driving through France, I could almost feel Monet's presence .

Love the way they all dressed so formally and Renoir puffing away on a cigarette! Renoir and Degas are two of my favourite artists. I think both were amazing.

This formal dress seems to be a European thing. Americans moved away from that with the image of the artist/worker dressed in jeans and t-shirts and flannel.
