11 x 14 inches .. acrylic on paper .. alla prima .. panted Mar 19/26 .. I tried another portrait that failed miserably so I painted it over with an imagined bouquet of flowers .. it goes to the sin bin as well but it's all about learning .. too many moves and over painting even on the scrap piece.
I'm posting all as there isn't much posting to look at .. even bad pieces are better than a blank page .. after all, it is an art site.

What’s not to like about this one, Wayne? I think it’s really pretty, especially for made-up. My art stuff is all packed so I’m eager to see what everyone else is working on. Thanks for the link; I’ll definitely check it out.

My art stuff is all packed
.. that must be hell .. hopefully not for that long .

Thank you .. I painted too many times in the background with the same paint .. you know, that old saying about insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results .. that was me on the background. No biggie, all my stuff is exploratory learning so it's fun and then on and on to the next fun piece. Fun is in making it not seeing the results unless they work well because they can be brutal when done incorrectly. I had fun making it and I'll have fun trying to better it. And when I get a good one I get a real good feeling.

I think it's lovely, Wayne! You're a harsh critic and I gotta handle it to you, you have no problem with filling your Learning Bin. 🛢️

But - the light is beautiful here, and your flowers are arranged just right. The vase is fantastic - it looks dented, and I love this!! ❤️

Thanks Terri,
…. right now I’m trying to learn the painterly approach. I found an artist that can help with that. I need to study his works by eye on my pc so I can see what he does. That’s the artist I mentioned. Some of his work is not up to par but some of it is up there and some. I base that on my likes and dislikes, of course. I won’t borrow his style but I will take the little tricks that can help my style.
