Ah, so now we're seeing red - literally. I love this rusty dirt - it goes so beautifully with your greens, and that fabulous blue sky.

I really like the knife/brush work around the trees - I know there's a name for this: just - incomplete lines, maybe? It's so effective here (even if I don't know what I'm looking at)!

Thank you Terri. Agree, the red was much needed. I like to think areas of my paintings are suggestive rather than complete. I find it forces the viewer to participate. It’s sort of like driving down the road and your eyes form animals from garbage along the roadside.
