Victoria Richards, an artist from Devon in the UK is creating a buzz on social media due to her fascinating collection of artwork capturing the beauty of nature on a small, round canvas using needles and thread. Victoria showcases her masterpieces through her Instagram page chromato_mania. Chromato is a Latin prefix which means ‘color’ and the suffix mania comes from the Greek word which means ‘excessive love’ or ‘obsession’. As the title of her page implies, the artist’s passionate use of rich and contrasting colors is evident through her works. She creates beautiful landscapes and aerial fields with long stitches and fluffy knots of threads. I especially like the aerial landscape views:

I love these, especially the aerial views. I like the little details, like the sheep and the textures of the trees. Very clever. Thanks for sharing. :)
