[Mississippi Hippie]

I tried to finish these more and this is the result. I’m kind of moved around since getting my home worked on, but I think I’ll get situated soon to work more. I was practicing abstracting images, cup of coffee and my dog, for example, but think it’s better to keep my time I paint to pure abstract paintings. Took way to much thought and paint/drawing to get to that conclusion. Well, I’m also getting tired of these colors, and am considering using a different one for the large work these are trials for.

You are way better at abstracting things than I am and I like these pieces. Even if you’re tired of these colors now you can always return to them someday; you are familiar with them and know them well.

These are GREAT! Lots of movement in the first one, and the second one has a ton of pensive interest. I love them both!
