Cute baby bats

Omg, this is a cute video with the cutest baby bats ever. 🦇

I thought you can't touch at all the wings! I read somewhere that if a bat flies into your house, you shut the lights off, put any tiny light outside (if there's none) and open the door and the bat flies away. It was important not to try to pick it up so that the wings won't get damaged. Of course, in the video the caretakers know what they are doing and actually they are not touching the delicate part of the wing.

Thank you so much for finding this video and sharing, Jade!

Glad you liked it too Grapes! Myself and my hubby just watched it and our hearts melted. 🥹 It's interesting isn't it re the wings? I'm not sure, maybe because they're babies and they're trained how to .. not sure 🤔
When I was in Australia I was working in a roadhouse cafe and if I needed to leave my room for the loo in the night, was told to be careful of bats getting caught in my hair! 🦇👧 It didn't happen luckily 😅

Just found these little fellas! 🦇🥹

Omg, too cute photo!

You just gave me an idea 💡 I started a new Halloween theme still life but I got stuck a week ago. I don't know what to add there in order to make composition work. A bat or two could fit to that still life. I'll give it a try at least. But .. first l might do s drawing of a bat 🦇 .

We have bats flying on the other side of the house where there's some roof covering the terrace and a window. They never flew inside but they could. Although now I have a net covered all the terrace for my cat so obviously they won't come in anymore.

Isn't it?! I love the idea of adding bats to your painting.. can't wait to see it.

That's cool about your bats! We do get some near us, on an evening walk they fly around. Cute little creatures.

I'm going to guess the wing cleaning was to remove mites or other possible icky crawlers? They didn't have a mom to do it, and she would likely be covering every inch of her babies.

Agreed that these caretakers look experienced and well trained. The person on the street who finds them should just turn them in to the pros!

Bats are rats with wings.

Oh yeah? Well... it's a good sign to have bats around, they are eating all the mosquitoes! Can't say that about rats.

Besides....so cute! ❤️

Thank you for sharing the video, @Jade! (@Enyaw probably thinks he can't paint a bat. Muahaha....!)
