A while back I painted these buildings from the street side. Now they're just a week or two from occupancy so I thought it would be a good time to do this side when no cars/people are around.
I finished setting up when this massive cement truck rolled in to fill an embankment and blocks my view. As I'm running out of profanities to mumble, the truck re-positions to pour cement from the other end - and frees up my view. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
The sketch
Then relators show up to examine the property. I'm looking down, concentrating on mixing paint, and when I look up a $100,000+ Rivian van is parked in the lane blocking my line of sight. I found the driver and he was nice enough (or smart enough) to move the van when asked..
