A number of years ago some friends and I took a motorcycle trip up to the Cook's Forest area of Pennsylvania. We stopped at an old growth forest area and took the hiking trail through the park. It was amazing to see such large trees in the eastern U.S. I took a bunch of reference pictures and really liked this one. It's done on Arches heavy drawing paper with pencils ranging from HB to 8B. The size is 13 x 15 inches.
