Thank you Christine. Good eye. Yes, I actually just let my support show through so I have a warm and a cool creating the edges. There is no black it's all blue, yellow ocher, burnt umber, green and crimson .. and of course white.

You're very modest considering how wonderful this is.

The people have movement, but are also grounding the bottom of the composition with the dark colors. I love the suggestion of buildings, some trees, and that single perfect light.

It's a simple scene, sure, but just wonderfully executed. Yay!!
