Carrot

Ink and Inktense in XL Mixed Media sketchbook, about 5"x7".

This turned out to be much more fun to paint than I expected it to be.

The dark areas are supposed to be dirt since the carrots were just pulled out of the ground.

This is beautiful! I think you could go a little darker with the shadows to make the carrots pop.

I agree. I went back into the painting although I didn't rescan it.
