Memories from earlier painting trips to Seville. "Capilla del Carmen", oil on wood, 20x30 cm.
Was painting by the river Guadalquivir very early in the morning to avoid tourists. There was only one captain getting his boat ready for the day and he didn't bother me. I did freeze completely because it was winter time and river banks can be cold places to paint, neither do I carry my winter clothes to Seville because in general they are not needed.

Thanks, Jade!
On the other side of this structure I would have seen more of it but there l would have been lots of cars and a busy street. So, had to do some object moving. There's also the bridge on the left. It was difficult to add to this painting. Not sure if it looks like a bridge? Should have left it out from this painting.

I noticed the bridge Grapes.. it looks good. I think you definitely chose the right pieces to leave in, imo.

😅👋 this session was all learning process of city scapes and that process continues .. thanks, Wayne!
Next time when in Seville l leave pleinairs to warmer months. From 15. Dec till end of January I stay inside and paint daily paintings.😉

Wow you did an amazing painting, Grapes! Like Jade said, your editing made the best of it. It has such an old world feel.

Donna, thanks! 🙏
There's a lot of old to paint in Seville. Wish I had a friend/friends to paint with around the city besides my cat 😸 but in Europe only very few ppl do pleinair.

Hehe. I do find cats can be better companions than a lot of humans tho! 😼❤️
