C. S. & W. Mills, Coimbatore

I made this quick 5" x 4" ink sketch with a black ink gel pen over seventeen months ago. At that time I posted it under the title "Stanes Spinning and Weaving Mill, Coimbatore". But I now understand that it was named the Coimbatore Spinning and Weaving Mills. It was referred to as the Stanes S. & W. Mills because it had been founded by Sir Robert Stanes.

I added the colour washes yesterday. My reference was a faded black and white photograph shared on Facebook long ago. I do not recall who posted it. And therefore the colours that I have used are from my imagination.
