This is an A5 size ink and watercolour wash sketch on what appears to be 170 gsm paper. I used a reference picture, but used only a part of it and with modifications. I did the ink sketch over a week ago. And, about four days ago, when I wanted to do the watercolour washes, I could not locate the reference picture and therefore the colours that I have used are all entirely my choice.

Wonderfully composed scene! The color choices are excellent, and I especially like the choice of muted color on the buildings to the right.

Thank you Joy.
Although the scanner has registerd most of the colours accurately, it has failed to pick up the blue in the sky. I am unable to figure out the reason for this.

Ah, yes, I see it is white. You could try scanning something else with blue and see if the settings are appropriate. Technology is so wonderful when it functions, and a real hassle when it is problematic.

Very nice Balaji. I find that blues don't scan as well as some of the other colors as well. I haven't figured out how to adjust for it. :( It affects things like the sky as well as my greens that show up more yellow than they should.
