Thanks so much Bethany, Jo and Sanlynn. I didn’t really see much of the bottle color on the pear but I thought it was needed to tie them together. I’m glad you think it worked. It also helps that you find a soft, calm mood because I always fear my work will be seen as boring, especially when so many artists use bright, saturated colors so well. I try but those are the ones that get painted over.

NO - your work is never boring to me. Not everyone's palette needs to scream for attention! Sometimes a whisper speaks the loudest. You stick with what your mind is giving you; it's wonderful.

I seriously admire your background - I LOVE where you put your horizontal line. Gorgeous piece.
