This is a watercolour sketch on 270 gsm A4 size Chitrapat watercolour paper (matt). My inspiration for this was a demo painting by Tom Shepherd, but I did not follow it as faithfully as I should have.

Nicely done. I love blue tits we have some breeding in our garden in an old apple tree.
Only the eye seems to be a bit to near to the beak.

Thank you Esther. And, you are probably right about the eye being too close to the beak. I am not really familiar with this bird. After reading your comment I too feel that it is not ok.
