The yellow CD came out a little strong.. but overall I'm pleased.

Jade, this is wonderful! Horses are notoriously difficult. Well done, you!

Jade : Wow, these are both just stunning ! You are very talented.
Cheers
Patricia

Thank you Patricia! I love that there's still more pictures I can do from this challenge.

Jade, I'm absolutely fond of your donkey. He has so much character, cuteness and movement. Reaching out some very good carrots, I'm sure.
Your white horse is very good, difficult subject (unless you've painted lots of horses) and you gave him a very pleasant look.

I'm finally back drawing + painting animals. Here's my painting of the "Long Tail Fellow". It's oil on oil paper.

Thank you Grapes! I did enjoy drawing those. Your long tail fellow is very good. I love the fluffiness of his tail!

Grapes, that is so nice! I love the texture of the fur and the bark from the paper.

You have all been busy since I was here last.

Grapes, I like your lions. No one would guess you "have no idea how to paint animals." They are quite good. Wonderful work with body position and expressions.

Jade, adorable racoon.

Jade, I love your horses. You have captured the action beautifully. Your use of Neocolor 2 and CP worked well here. Nice work on the donkey too. You might consider "grounding" the animals by putting in a shadow under the feet and extend it out a little to the side to geive the feeling of the animal standing on something.

Grapes, your "Long Tail Fellow" is adorable. I love his expression ("Who Me???").

Thank you @ams good idea on the "grounding". I'll try that.
Your bird is stunning.. love the colours.
