I gave the rabbit a try. My art stuff is all packed except for some charcoal pencils and gray paper. Drawing a rabbit is much more enjoyable than packing household stuff!

5 x 7 inch acrylic on canvas panel. I'm not very satisfied with it, something's off and I think the ears might be too big too.

You did a great job on this, Liz! That dog’s ears are big and you caught the expression so well. In the photo, the head is tipped to the side a bit - maybe that’s what’s bugging you. Is this a chihuahua of some sort?

Thank you, yes I noticed the head is not tilted like in the photo and was wondering if maybe that's it.

I believe it is a long haired chihuahua puppy

LizC. You did good work on the little chihuahua puppy. I think the problem
is with the mouth. The right side of the mouth [her right side not the right side
of the drawing] should be tilted up not down so that she appears to be smiling
[ I chose the photo reference because she seems to be smiling ]

I'm looking forward to seeing it too. I worked in digital for a while in the past and now I am back to w/c. I actually enjoy the variety.

What software do you use?
