I would appreciate some recommendations for a good glue for acetate sheet. I have read that cyanoacrylate (super glue) works, but was wondering whether transparent contact glue would perhaps be suitable. I could do some experiments, but a good starting point would be helpful.

I just googled adhesives for acetate sheets and there are so many recommendations, Hermes. Craft makers and model railroad makers all have their favorites. I think it might depend on what you’re gluing the acetate to and whether you want it to be permanent or removable. Maybe do some tests with what you have on hand and go from there? I hope someone here might have some experience with this.

Thank you Donna, I forgot to mention that I had done a Google search as well as an AI search. I got a bit confused, as there wasn't consensus on the best adhesive for a permanent bond. I thought I would check whether anyone here had any experience. Next step will be to do some experiments.
