Reminds me of a flock of red-and-black birds (Cardinals or Scarlet Tanagers, perhaps). I find myself mesmerized by it.

Red and black are strong, energizing, sometimes violent colors together. This isn't violent as much as it is very attention getting, bold and full of movement. I like it a lot!

I see flight and I also see blood. I'm torn, but this isn't a bad thing because this has impact for sure. Well done! :)

Donna, thanks.
I wanted something totally different: Haven't used acrylics since probably 1972 or so. Rarely use either reds or black, and not in such quantity, and with only white as a modifier. Three reds, primary red, aliz. crimson, iron oxide red. Going for immediacy and looseness, while still producing a piece that people can relate to or "feel", see something in or get something out of.
I appreciate all the comments. Thank you all.
I've since done another, with the same intents. I'll see about posting it later.
