I do want to get into doing slightly more realistic work. But I somehow always end up with naive or abstracts stuff like these here.

Thank you very much Donna. I sometimes feel I should learn how to paint more realistic stuff. But every time I try I either get bored or end up with a something of a mess. I think I need to find some sort of working style which involves minimal waiting for layers to dry. Maybe one initial wash to lay out the colour temperatures and then go for it. I'll try to find a workshop this summer I think.
It's always fun to play with paint and colours though
