This is really good. I love the fur. Personally I'd leave the background as it is and keep all the focus on the animal.

I agree, love the contrast of the straight and curved lines! It looks like an interesting buidling and a good subject for drawing.

A side effect of the salted roads here is that some coastal plants are starting to grow along roadsides quite far from the shore. On the other hand, the footpath I use to get to work has bare earth on either side of it and looks awful. It's a great painting Wayne, the light is beautiful.

this is so good! I love how you painted the roots.

I ordered a tube of Cadmium red from Jackson's once and it was like that as soon as it was delivered- separated in the tube. It isn't uncommon apparently. I mixed it back together and it was absolutely fine - I just had to do that most times I used it.
