'Whitest ever' paint reflects 98% of sunlight

I do wonder if it'd make a difference in mixes? Like being able to achieve higher chroma at higher values?

'Whitest ever' paint reflects 98% of sunlight

Barium Sulfite (what this paint is made with) is found in synthetic (PW21) and natural (PW22) forms and it's an ingredient in Lithopone (PW5), so I guess the way they made this can be ported to oil paint? 🤔 https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-56749105

Louvre makes its entire collection available online

There is so much stuff! Try the search function and find, for instance, all of the museum’s works by Leonardo da Vinci or Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun (one of the very few women whose art is on display at the museum). You can also start with these "playlists" created by the museum...

Bansky painting sells for 23 Million

In this instance and despite my general cynicism I want to believe that whoever paid for it paid the sum for charity. Doesn't hurt for them that they now own a Banksy (which in the future they might be able to sell for more $$$... arggg the cynic is waking up so I'll just stop right here)
