    It's been a while since I posted here or did much artwork really. We've recently had an abundance of rain where I live, perfect conditions for fungii, favourite subject and colour palette. A4 size, pen and acrylic ink.

    Thank you all for your comments. Arty - with regards to style I really have no control over this, it has a mind of it's own, be it painting or drawing. So yes totally not forced.

    The dark lord of the Australian skies, do not mess with a magpie, particularly in the springtime. Black fountain pen with ink wash.

    After painting birds for a few months it was time for a floral painting, familiar subject, very relaxing and fun to paint. A3 size, liquitex acrylic ink, some dry brushing in the background for a change.

    Latest drawing of a snail shell from the rainforest. Drawn with a recently purchased fountain pen - "Pinieder Amber Demonstrator" and Noodlers Ink - Walnut. A3 size and about 20 hours, absolutely delightful pen to use and the ink is superb. A combination of some very familiar cross hatching...
