Hi, I'm new here... I was on Wetcanvas a long time ago, but doesn't seem there's much going on there anymore. I did this in 2021...18x24, mixed media (soft pastel, oil pastel, graphite, colored pencil) on paper. Looking for feedback/comments. Thank you!

I love this...so dramatic! The colors are powerful, but also the bold black and the committed brushstrokes. To me, it conveys a sense of a lot going on - maybe there's fireworks or explosions, a war in the background perhaps...but definitely a lot of lights resulting in all kinds of...

I like the arrangement, and the balance of curved and angular shapes and sizes., along with the layering of shapes on top of shapes. I can see how the shapes have some tonal variation to appear more 3-dimensional, though maybe you could push that a little bit if that was your intent? And...
