I've been working on this (in wool) Paperweight Afghan designed by Dorothy Neidhart. The hexes are finally about 90% finished. Then I have half hexes to make for the ends and then sew it together and put an edging on it.

Terri, thanks so much!

And Hostajunkie, ZenDruid, GrantCee, and Everyone else, thank you!

Probably a stupid question, but is it called that because it resembles a glass millefiori paperweight?

Sno, Anne, and Arty, thank you!
Hermes2020, not a stupid question at all! I wouldn't be surprised if that is exactly the reason Dorothy Neidhart named it that. And thank you for giving me that reference!
I now have a few strips sewn together and plan to start sewing those strips together. And my DD asked me to make it at least 2 hexegons longer! I think that's 18 more hexes, at about 4 hours each...
