11 x 14 inches oil on paper .. alla prima .. painted June 1/22
I did this version as I wanted to back further from the object in making it more expression than objective. The white flowers have a little more variance in them but the camera is letting me down as usual.

I must agree. I can manipulate still Iife much better than landscapes and portraits hold no interest for me. Too lazy and disinterested in learning the curves.
 
I agree with sno. You're very good at them. In this one, the white part gets a little lost in front of the window I think. Certain parts maybe need some definition, but again, that's how they would look in real life with the light, so it may not matter. ;)

As for the white, you are right on both accounts but the latter is more to the truth. I am not recording, I am creating. ;)
 
Another example of how creatively you interpret reality. The flowers are luscious!
 
Thank you Donna .. I forgot to mention that the reason I gave up on the mixed more fluid wax medium was mainly drying time.
