I know most of us aren't ready for snow yet but I do like your snow paintings so much. The sky is really beautiful in that one! The others work well with your thick strokes of paint too. Very nice work, Wayne! I assume they take a little longer to dry?

Thank you Donna .. not a whole lot .. few weeks at the most .. the cold wax cures the oil up quickly ... of course I use more than they suggest and they suggest to use it on board or some stiff support but I use it on paper at close to a 1 to 1 ratio .. wax and paint. Works for me. I have papers over a year old and no sign of warping .. crap, I've had panels warp more.

I love the composition in the first one. Excellent! Angles and vertical lines, and the upward march of those thin trees in the background create a terrific little triangle. Yay!!

Agree with Donna about that lovely sky in the second one.
