Thank you Donna .. I like that. Here's my take.
I enter on the bottom left quarter of the piece and purple and gray point me to red and I follow that up and then I fall down again. Like MC Esher but less details: you know you must be up cause you are looing down. I already seen the left bottom so now I trip over to the right bottom quarter and again I amup looking down at some awful green mass so my eye follows upward along the dark of what I now see as the back of a man. He is point to his right and telling the dog and duck in the left upper corner to go that way. And then, on again ... that's my story an' I'm stickin' to it ...
Great stuff Wayne. Your eyes just travel all over it, over and over. I just love all the little shapes make by the knife dragging the paint, making it skip here and there. I can help looking for little recognizable patterns.
