Thank you for posting your travel photos, Terri, and giving me the idea to post a series of my own here. Rather than the big picture, the smaller details are often what catch my eye, so my photos often don't look like typical tourist shots. I also like unexpected situations, like this Japanese lady in Ottawa.

Or this couple I spotted early one Sunday morning in Johannesburg.

Another odd find: a huge ship propeller in Johannesburg.

Wonderful captures, Hermes! Thank you for posting these! I love the serene expression on the Japanese woman - would have loved to hear her playing.

I think we all see the world through other people's travel shots - the more the merrier!
