It was a lesson in painting the whole and then pulling the items of interest. The thing that caught my attention was how you quickly block in and then as you pull items forward some of the block in says more than you can say if you try for the details. The hard part is leaving those pieces alone. For example the glasses….the rims of the glasses made the glasses.

Not sure what you mean. My intention was I was impressed by your outstanding work. The reason I viewed it was the title of my favorite color was intriguing to me.

Thank you, I should have clarified it originally. Since your art is always such a high standard, the painting exceeded my already lofty expectations. Often the written word can be interpreted more harshly than intended by the author. It seems to me that I haven't seen your work as much in the last several months, but I am spending less time online and was on a long holiday.
