Petunias in a Pot

I did this from life in my art class today. It's about 7" x 8", ink and Inktense pencils in XL Mixed Media Sketchbook.

I had fun doing this. Someone had brought in the flower for the art room and our teacher asked if anyone wanted to give it a try. I usually work from photos so this was a little different for me.

The color of the red flowers is a little more intense in the actual painting but when I tried to adjust it, the green leaves changed too much.
