I had sketched this while waiting in line to vote in April last year. And naturally, I forgot that I had sketched this with a chisel marker pen. The problem is that the ink in that pen is not waterproof and it started bleeding when I applied the washes today. Still, once I was aware of the problem I tried to make it work for me.
Incidentally the sketch is 5" x 4", and is not on watercolour paper.
