Brilliant. I'm trying to learn at the moment how to draw wrinkles without them looking like lines drawn on the sitter's face, and this is an inspirational example. Really subtle and skillfully done.

Beautiful expressive line and value work. Proportions and expression are excellent. Charcoal, graphite?
 
This is so well done! I can't draw wrinkles for the life of me, and I find it so impressive when others can.
Thank you. I started purposefully looking for pictures of older people. It is difficult and takes patience. I didn't with this one, but sometimes I'll use a grid method that forces me to look closer. After a while I dont have to do that so much. It's like muscle memory.
